Electrical Systems Manager – Renewable Energy – RT0027 | Ably Resources LTD

A highly reputable energy organisation is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance and development of high-voltage electrical infrastructure across a portfolio of renewable energy assets.

This is a senior leadership opportunity combining technical expertise, project delivery, commercial awareness and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the management and maintenance of HV electrical systems.
– Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
– Manage contractors, suppliers and technical teams.
– Oversee operational performance, risk and compliance.
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
– Support client relationships and business growth activities.
– Monitor project financials, forecasting and reporting.

Requirements:
– Significant experience with HV electrical systems
– Background in renewables, utilities, power generation or similar.
– Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
– Experience leading technical teams.
– Commercial and budget management experience.
– Relevant electrical qualification (HNC, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent).
– Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:
– Wind energy experience.
– Senior Authorised Person (SAP) experience.
– Contestable works knowledge.
– Risk and change management experience.
