Our Client is a highly reputable Group of Companies manufacturing construction materials and acting as a building contractor on a wide range of projects.

A vacancy is now available for an Engineering Manager to take responsibility for all departments overseeing maintenance and repair of production plan, equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities will include

• Establish Total Production Maintenance processes and procedures ensuring plant and equipment is maintained effectively
• Maintain all fleet and equipment calibrations and certifications schedule, licences and insurances.
• Oversee installation, refurbishing and overhaul of plant and equipment (when undertaken by internal team and when outsources)
• Set budgets, ensuring cost control processes are in place
• Assist the procurement team in the sourcing of parts as required
• Manage the maintenance team including welders, mechanics and technicians
• Work with HR to recruit, oversee training schedules and carry out performance reviews
• Work with other departments to ensure the maintenance various ISO certifications
• Manage site mobilisation and set up related to electrical and mechanical installations.

Talent will:

• Ideally be a Warranted Engineer holding a minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Possess 8years+ experience in a quality focussed manufacturing environment
• Be health & safety conscious with a commitment to safe environments
• Demonstrate strong people management supervisory skills
• Be strong communicators with excellent problem solving skills
• Have proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
