Partner with the best

The Fabrication Operation Leader will be responsible to perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Participate in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions. Develops the year plan for the own function on the basis of the framework of the strategic plan for the whole unit.

As a Fabrication Operation Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
  • Ensuring continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
  • Managing the team of salaried employees. This does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.
  • Conducting frequent interactions on manager level with Engineering, maintenance, planning and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment.
  • Handling complex manufacturing processes. Manufacturing department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs.
  • Leading a medium sized manufacturing unit with a budget > $ 5 million.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/ GED) or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Have a deep knowledge on fabrication and machining manufacturing processes.
  • Have demonstrated experience in leading cross functional teams and ability to motivate teams.
  • Have good knowledge and experience of manufacturing improvement techniques.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Have the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Have project management skills.
