What you’ll do:
This is a great opportunity for a Field Operations Coordinator to join the Santos team. Based on site in the Cooper Basin, the primary objective of this position is to enhance delivery of production by enabling our onsite operating teams and the Area Team Leaders to focus on their core accountabilities.
The role presents an excellent opportunity to develop basic Operator Maintainer competencies if interested in pursuing that pathway in the future.
Please note, this is a 2:2 FIFO role, with point of hire either Brisbane airport or Adelaide airport. To be eligible, you must live in either QLD or SA.
Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Support operator-maintainer schedule compliance and scheduling execution processes
- Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) toolbox and meeting management
- Assist with day-to-day administrative activities to ensure smooth operations
- Coordination and implementation of EHS Audits and Inspections
- Parts and Technical Documentation Management support in SAP and documentation system
- Support implementation of Operations-Excellence Standards
- Field tasks aimed at developing Operator Maintainer skills
What you’ll bring:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced candidate with relevant industry experience, excellent communication skills and a great attitude. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to manage competing priorities for multiple stakeholders
- Keen eye for detail and thorough organisational skills
- Proactive, flexible and keen for action
- Competent use of the Microsoft Office suite as well as computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) – ideally SAP
- Valid light vehicle drivers’ licence required. Light Rigid (LR) drivers’ licence is desirable.
In addition, any knowledge or experience of the following will be looked upon favourably:
- Trade qualified and/or licence for dogging, rigging etc. or prior experience as a Trades Assistant
- Knowledge of operations and maintenance orders operations and parts requirements across commonly used equipment across production and processing plants
- Familiar with a documentation management system, such as MyPlant, specifically initiating and processing transmittals to manage technical documentation.
- Familiar with Permit to Work processes & equipment isolations (lock out, tag out)
- Previous history working FIFO Roster and ideally within the natural resources industries
