Job Title HR Specialist – Recruitment

Location Hassi Messaoud, Algeria

Employment Type Local Fixed-Term Employment Contract (CDD)

The HR Specialist will be primarily responsible for supporting and coordinating recruitment activities, candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling and recruitment administration. The role requires familiarity with local recruitment channels, ANEM procedures and the Algerian labour market, particularly within the oil and gas and industrial sectors.

Qualifications and Professional Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Administration or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or HR administration.
• Familiarity with local recruitment channels, candidate sourcing strategies and ANEM registration and recruitment procedures.
• Good knowledge of recruitment processes, CV screening, candidate shortlisting and interview coordination.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and candidate-tracking systems.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage recruitment documentation and maintain accurate candidate records.

Language Requirements

• Arabic Fluent.
• French Working proficiency.
• English Basic proficiency preferred.

General Eligibility and Working Conditions:

• Algerian nationals only.
• Both male and female candidates are welcome to apply.
• Previous professional experience in Hassi Messaoud, the big South region or within the Oil & Gas and industrial sectors will be considered an advantage.
• Candidates must be genuinely willing and available to work in Hassi Messaoud under their preferred working arrangement.
• Valid local ANEM registration must be completed before the commencement of employment.
• All successful candidates will be recruited under local fixed-term employment contracts (CDD).

Working Arrangements

Candidates must indicate their preferred working arrangement:

• Family Scheme Residential arrangement based on the applicable family accommodation policy.
• 4×4 Rotation Four days on duty followed by four days off, subject to the applicable project arrangements.
