Context & Environment
Are you skilled in stakeholder engagement and regulatory compliance within the upstream Oil & Gas industry? We are seeking a dynamic Joint Venture Management (JVM) Lead to manage partner relationships, regulatory alignment, and financial reporting for Kenyalang assets (SK301B and SK313).
Activities
Your Impact
As a key member of the Assets, Subsurface & Planning team, you will:
- Manage relationships with JV partners and PETRONAS-MPM, ensuring alignment on strategic and operational priorities.
- Coordinate regulatory compliance and secure approvals for key processes.
- Prepare and deliver structured updates and reports on asset performance, milestones, and financial outcomes during SOCM, TCM, and MCM meetings.
- Oversee financial documentation, including AFE submissions and Year-End Reporting (YER) packages.
- Lead integration and review activities such as AMIR, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of inputs across the asset.
Candidate Profile
What We Are Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A university degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in upstream Oil & Gas, with at least 3 years in stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, PSC agreements, and JV governance.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
