Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. 

  • Mechanic Technician (Associate): $17.39 – $31.31
  • An offer of employment with Halliburton does not guarantee employment for any length of time. Actual pay will be discussed and finalized at the time of the offer.
  • Hotel accormadations for 60 days for employees relocating to Williston, ND area. 
  • Starting schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-14 hours/day (hours may vary based on business needs)

Job Duties

  • This is an entry level position for maintenance personnel desiring a career path as a Mechanic or Electronic/Electrical Technician.
  • Under direct supervision, gains knowledge of routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs of a variety of Halliburton equipment.
  • Thereafter, assists maintenance technicians in performing more complex repairs prior to be broken out as a stand-alone Technician I.
  • Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
  • Consequences of errors are easily measured and can be confined.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimal skills may also be acquired through a qualified technical school certificate or equivalent related experience.
  • Basic set of hand tools is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include an A.S. degree or Certificate in Diesal Technology with previous experience as a mechanic working with heavy duty equipment.
