Mechanical Engineer

Our client is an established multidisciplinary organisation delivering extensive building and infrastructure projects across Europe. Due to continued expansion of the Building Services Team, a Mechanical Engineer is required to support projects from design through to completion on site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical designs, drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate mechanical services with architectural, structural and other engineering disciplines.
• Supervise installation works on site, checking progress, quality and compliance with approved designs.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Attend site meetings, carry out inspections and support testing and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and report on design and site progress.

Talent will ideally have

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least three years’ experience in mechanical design and site supervision, ideally on building services projects.
• The ability to manage technical matters independently and communicate effectively with project teams.
• Experience using Revit, which would be beneficial.
• A local engineering warrant, which would be an advantage.
