Hiring Instrumentation and Control Professionals in Oil/Gas/Chemical/Petrochemical Industry for Bangalore location.
Experience in I&C filed with a wide variety of Field Instrument, control system, ESD etc in refinery, chemical, New Energy and industrial plants
Responsibilities
- A classification of I&C normally requiring an undergraduate degree and a minimum of 20 years’ I&C.
- Consults with departmental PLMs, team leads, and staff on technical problems, staffing requirements, effort-hour estimates, and schedule issues in relation to commitments for project deliverables
- Assigns lead and other Instrument personals to project teams, ensuring the best utilization of their talents and skill sets for the specific project requirements.
- Plan on the requirement on department Work force and responsible for recruiting I&C Engineers ,designers and team leads as needed
- Monitors progress and performance of all I&C talents assigned to projects and assures quality standards are maintained
- Demonstrates customer focus in all actions
- Reviews and approves the use of outside design consultants in matters concerning the I&C design effort for all projects
- Establishes and maintains a set of work instructions, procedures, specifications, and technical guidelines relative to the I&C design section and ensure the team to follow.
- Actively monitors project staffing requirements, adding, or removing assigned personnel as required by project needs
- Reviews and approves time sheets and expense reports for I&C talents
- Approves scheduling of vacations for I&C design personnel to minimize job disruptions and substitutions of manpower
- Initiates, and approves routine performance appraisals for all I&C personnel utilizing formal company performance review process
- Provides consultation and guidance to department personnel on how to accomplish their goals
- Responsible for the training and professional development of I&C Team
- Role model for open communications, relationship building, negotiations, and conflict resolution, and administrative professionalism and reflecting Worley Values.
- Responsible for overall departmental success.
- Experience in managing department with 40 to 75 People
Qualifications
Engineering Graduate either in instrumentation or electronics engineering
