About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of Santos’ PNG Communications and Media Team based at Port Moresby. This role reports to the PNG Communications Manager, and the primary objective of this position is to create and manage digital content for external-facing media and internal communications that informs and engages our stakeholders, promotes our brand, purpose and reputation.
Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System (SMS). Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Produce or create highly professional and creative digital and desktop publishing content in line with communications strategies, deliverables and Santos brand guidelines for event, internal business or media campaigns, PNG corporate presentations, corporate reports, short videos including animations, advertisements, social media tiles, factsheets and general employee communications.
- Support the PNG Communications Manager and PNG Senior Media Adviser, PNG Senior Communications Adviser and PNG Sponsorship and Events Adviser in the production of highly creative promotional digital content, and other material for event participants and managers so that they are well equipped and prepared ahead of the event taking place.
- Support the PNG Sponsorship and Events Adviser with relevant and innovative digital content for presentations and assets to ensure an event is executed successfully and engagement is of a high quality.
- Support the PNG Communications Manager and PNG Sponsorship and Events Adviser in creating highly innovative digital content including professional video and photography for events across internal and external channels to reflect engagement and build trust and confidence in the Santos brand.
- Proactively maintain competence in latest video, photo and desktop publishing software skills and knowledge and initiate digital content strategies with PNG Communications Manager and PNG Senior Media Adviser.
- Prepared to travel sometimes at short notice and work extended hours with limited to no supervision.
About You
We are seeking for candidates with the following essential experience:
- Extensive years of experience as a professional digital content producer. Preferable 5+years of experience.
- Proficient in videography, photography and editing.
- Advanced desktop publishing skills.
- Content writing skills is highly desirable.
Ideally, you are relevant educational qualification in Digital/Social Media or demonstrate significant training and experience within directly relevant role(s), within large corporate environments.
