Preservation Lead

Airswift is seeking a Preservation Lead to work on an outsourced contract in Angra dos Reis with a major Oil & Gas operator.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 Be a role model for safety, quality and collaboration. HSE performance within Company requirements is the primary task.
Be a role model of Company’s Code of Conduct.
Secure Company HSE targets together with the site team, Contractor and subcontractors.
Ensure that stop of work authority are duly understood by subcontractors.
 Perform risk-based follow-up of Contractor(s) to ensure deliveries in line with scope of work and schedule.
Provide Contractor(s) with input and clarifications.
 Ensure necessary dialogue with interfacing disciplines and contribute to resolving interface issues in a timely manner.
Contribute to internal project evaluations and documentation.
 Identify own discipline risks and report to Construction Manager, providing inputs in risk management meetings.
Contribute to discipline quality assurance & control of the activities.
 Follow-up Site Queries being issued by Contractor’s construction team.
Witness activities/tests in own discipline. Identify key HOLD/Witness points.
Verify pre-selected inspection & test reports (ITR-A’s).
Follow-up Contractor’s utilization of their completion tool.
Collaborate and support Contractor’s Site Compliance team / Site Inspectors to deliver as promised.
Cooperate, as required on SJA’s processes.
Ensure efficient collaboration and experience transfer: Secure good handover from previous project phase; source experiences from similar projects; involve discipline network and professional ladder as necessary.
Identify overall preservation and housekeeping conditions with regards to other disciplines (structure, piping and mechanical) reporting such conditions to Construction Manager.
Ensure that overall preservation is taken care of by contractor and yard subcontractor and well followed up, verified and controlled, especially when it comes to main machines which have orientations from Vendors in their manuals.
Follow-up, together with other disciplines, Contractor’s utilization of their completion tool.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the area of ??preservation of equipment/instruments/piping in the construction of FPSO modules
