Context of the position :
VINCI Construction Grands Projets Geocean sector is looking for a Project Manager reporting to the Director of the Geocean sector, whose tasks will be to coordinate all the technical technical, economic and contractual aspects of projects.
VCGP – Geocean is a leading player in the field of marine works.

In the execution phase, you will be responsible for bringing the entire project to a successful conclusion from the engineering phase through to delivery, in accordance with the company’s procedures, with the aim of achieving the QHSSE, CSR, customer and financial objectives as defined by management.
You will manage all aspects of the project and consolidate feedback from your project as part of a continuous improvement process.

Main tasks and activities:

  • Putting in place the team required to complete the Project by defining and then implementing the Project organisation chart and ensuring, throughout the execution phases allocation of the resources needed to carry out and complete the project.
  • With the support of the project management team, examine in depth the elements of the contract, understand the contract provisions, the scope of work and assimilate what has been defined in the tender/commercial phase.
  • Ensure that all necessary Project processes, management plans, procedures and tools are implemented and applied in order to steer the Project towards successful HSE, quality and economic results
  • Ensure the development and constant updating of the Project’s strategy and execution plan
  • Approve all major decisions to be taken in relation to project implementation.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the activities of all the project disciplines with the responsible for each discipline involved in the project
  • Define and organise the use of human resources, equipment, vessels, subcontractors
  • Identify and estimate the project’s risks and opportunities and ensure that the analysis of these and opportunities are updated and taken into account during the execution of the Project
  • Carry out all commercial and contractual negotiations with the Customer and its technical representative
  • During the tender response phase, you will take part in the final negotiations, taking the deal through to signature

The type of infrastructure you will be responsible for developing and delivering:

  • LNG and Ammonia terminals
  • Subsea infrastructure
  • Offshore water intake and discharge for the mining and desalination industries
  • Sea water air conditioning systems

Position based in Cassis (13), with travel to Paris and abroad as required.
Fluency in written and spoken English essential.
Profile required :

  • Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac +5).
  • Experience of marine and subsea installation work.
  • 8 years’ experience or more, on design-build projects, in project, works or package management.
  • Knowledge of marine or coastal environments.
