Job Summary

We are currently looking for an experienced PROJECT PLANNER to join our professional services team. The applicant will be responsible in Project Schedule & Budget Planning & Evaluation: Responsible for planning and monitoring the progress of projects throughout their life cycles. Determining project scope, create work schedules and estimate the resources and costs to deliver the project. Assisting the project manager to coordinate tasks and track the completion of scheduled duties to prevent delays.


  • Min. 10+ years combined experiences in the oil & gas industry’s mega projects as a project planner with a focus on project management, scheduling & evaluation.
  • Outlining the scope of projects, including determining the start and delivery dates.
  • Creating and defining project goals and objectives.
  • Analyzing each phase of projects to determine budgets.
  • Tracking project costs and ensuring implementation stays within predicted estimates.
  • Estimating the project timeline and making sure teams adhere to delivery dates.
  • Managing the human and capital resources of a project to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensuring the project has adequate staff to complete each stage on schedule.
  • Identifying and evaluating risks that can derail project delivery and providing solutions to prevent risks.
  • Providing reports on deviations to the original project plan that can lead to serious delays and budget overruns.
  • Preparing and presenting internal and external project reports for stakeholders.
  • Providing comprehensive project data to teams to help them work more effectively.
  • Identifying and communicating changes in the project plan to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with teams and other stakeholders on short and long-term plans for resource allocation and work scheduling.
  • Assisting the project manager to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Documenting and maintaining records on project scheduling processes.
  • Applicant should be capable to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and should be a self-stated with the ability to direct others and require minimal supervision.
  • Applicant should possess a wide knowledge for project management and computer software e.g., Zoho, GanttPRO, Wrike, Teamwork, Primavera, MS Project, Milestone Professional, etc.
  • Applicant must have excellent understanding and organizational skills to coordinate projects and technical staff in the preparation of all project requirements for Design Basis, FEED studies, bidding documents and tender evaluations.

Experience and Characteristics Requirements

  • Min. B.Sc. from a recognized university.
  • Prefer PMP (Project Management. Professional) Certification or Equivalent
  • Should not be older than age fifty-five (55).
  • Strong supervisory skills and good execution of discipline engineering activities
  • With 8-12 years of similar role experience in Oil & Gas projects (mandatory).
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
