Job Description:
Our client is a project focused team of experienced and dedicated specialists who concentrate on the Energy, Petrochemical, Mining, Rail and Port industries, serving project owners, project funders and project engineers. Our client currently has vacancies for both a Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-contract stage:
- Strategic Planning; Stakeholder Collaboration; Risk Management; Quality Assurance; Negotiation and Decision Making; Documentation and Reporting; Financial Forecasting.
- Post-contract stage:
- Advanced Measurement Techniques; Dynamic Cost Management; Complex Payment Certifications; Dispute Resolution; Strategic Decision Support; Proactive Communication.
- Close-out stage:
- Thorough Documentation; Contractual Compliance; Continuous Improvement.
- General comments:
- Regulatory Compliance; Specialized Experience; Contractual Expertise; Technical Proficiency.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- 10 – 20 years’ experience depending on seniority of role
- Multidisciplinary experience – civils/structural steel/mechanical/platework and piping etc.
- Targeting candidates from quantity surveying firms over experience working for contractors
- FIDIC and NEC3/4 experience
