What role you will play in our team

 

The Industrial Hygiene (IH) Technician position provides oversight and coordination of occupational health programs across a Delaware Operations. This role ensures that both company and contractor teams implement effective occupational health practices, working closely with field supervisors and contractor leads. The Industrial Technician will take work direction from an ExxonMobil Industrial Hygienist to ensure corporate compliance, technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of MOH-IH initiatives.  and is responsible for carrying out a variety of activities such as routine and air monitoring, noise surveys, ventilation surveys.

 

Job location is Carlsbad, NM 88220

What you will do

 

  • Industrial Hygiene monitoring 
  • Quantitative and qualitative assessments and data entry /general database management
  • Industrial Hygiene equipment management 
  • Respond to general industrial hygiene field requests 
  • Deliver field level Industrial Hygiene training
  • Industrial Hygiene monitoring support for emergency response activities as needed

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

Experience with Gas detection & IH sampling equipment (including performing general gas testing and monitoring) and other industrial hygiene equipment e.g., sound level meters and dosimeters 

  • OSHA/NIOSH standards knowledge
  • Field audits & documentation
  • Digital tools for reporting
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred but not required
