The role works closely with EPC/EPCM contractors, engineering consultants, construction contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to support the successful delivery of project milestones and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor critical path activities, schedule performance, key milestones, constraints, and potential delays, providing proactive mitigation recommendations.
  • Facilitate planning, progress review, and schedule coordination meetings with project teams, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Support procurement activities by reviewing tender schedules, contractor planning submissions, and long-lead equipment delivery schedules.
  • Provide planning oversight during construction, verifying progress, identifying risks, and supporting recovery and acceleration plans where required.
  • Develop and maintain commissioning, turnover, and handover schedules to ensure readiness and successful project delivery.
  • Prepare schedule updates, forecasting reports, critical path analyses, and management reports to support effective project decision-making.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related project discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of project planning and scheduling experience within mining, minerals processing, infrastructure, or heavy industrial projects.

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including critical path analysis, scheduling, forecasting, and progress measurement.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, earned value management, change control, contractor claims, and schedule risk analysis.
