As a Services Specialist – Applications Engineering – Bottle Tester, you will be responsible for:
Providing conceptual or practical activities, applying chemistry to industrial processes for development of new technologies and products
Expecting to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent
Working together with people from the business unit
Contacting customers under guidance and geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues
Communicating with team and supervisor. Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
Communicating with external customers on project progress and translating the work into values added to customers.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar.
Solid understanding of China Upstream Chemicals Market.
Have 5+ years’ experience in Oilfield Chemistry industry.
Experience and knowledge in bottle testing including Reverse clarifier selection and demulsifier reformulation.
Be a good team player and display good communication skills with fluency in English.
Have good interpersonal skills with an aptitude for team work and ability to guide others. Ability to work independently.
Be of an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems/identify solutions, be able to identify and drive process improvements.
Demonstrate experience running field tests, identify oilfield problems related to dehydration, corrosion, scale, paraffin, asphaltene, etc
Willing to be present in front of external customers.
