The Team Lead Inventory & Warehouse – GOM Supply Chain will be part of the GOM SCM Field Business Process Department

and will support the Gulf of Mexico Supply Chain Management Team in managing both short and long term planning as well as in controlling program execution while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This will be done by working closely with the Assets, Plants and Operational Support groups to gather, analyze and reconcile all necessary data to allow execution of these plans.     

•    Oversee and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed
•    Manage custody of materials including the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods and materials, in compliance with company policies and procedures
•    Conducts periodic physical inventory counts
•    Ensures compliance with internal practices and external policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance.
•    Monitors the operation and performance of the facility. Takes appropriate action when necessary to ensure compliance of safety, efficiency, environmental and administrative guidelines.
•    Handles day-to-day tactical issues independently with little or no supervision
•    Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to inventory and equipment 
•    Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs

Qualifications

 

Required: 
•    8+ years of warehouse and inventory experience
•    Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes
•    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and other stakeholders
•    Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, and Powerpoint
•    Physically able to withstand heat dust, minor lifting typical in pipe yards
•    Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
