Our client are a JV between a Saudi based leading contactor and a leading global engineering company

The JV will will be supporting the execution of Saudi Aramco’s EPC projects within the industrial sector as part of the new National EPC Champion program announced by Aramco on 2022

The Telecoms & Security Head of Departmentwill ensure the discipline engineering work is performed to the correct standard and budgeted execution-hours. The Telecoms & Security Head of Department is accountable to the Engineering Head of Department.

Primary Duties:

• Allocate appropriate discipline resources for the preparation of proposals, FEED Verification and detailed engineering on projects.
• Prepare verbal or written reports as required, stating the current workload in the group and whether it will meet set targets. If not, give the reasons why not and list the steps taken, or which need to be taken, to get back on target.
• Liaise closely with the various Engineers/Head of Dept for whom the group is doing work. This will enable the latest developments, which may affect the schedule to be ascertained. Advise them of problem areas.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-organizational project teams to give advice to customers and peer groups on technology solutions.

About You:

Qualification/ Certification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer science
• Chartered status preferred. 
• Significant related project management experience working for engineering/client organizations in the oil and gas industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition industry.
• Experience of executing projects in the Middle East.
• Saudi Aramco Projects working experience.

Skills Requirement:

• 25+ Years experience in the installation, testing, maintenance and advanced design of Secure Network and Telecommunications solutions, or a combination of equivalent education and work experience Leadership & execution-hours estimation skills.
• 10+ Years’ experience managing people and projects
• Strong knowledge and experience in the use of advanced information security solutions, including security software, scripts, configurations, network infrastructure and design, intrusion detection, TCP/IP protocols, and application security features
• Experience with enterprise security solutions spanning multiple business functions and geographic locations.
• Strong knowledge in the development of secure network architectures and standards.
• Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP routing, AAA, RADIUS, TACACS, authentication systems, Wireless LAN, proxy technology, and network appliances.
• Team management skills
• PC Skills include use of the various engineering & modelling software
• Training Analysis
