What role you will play in our team

ExxonMobil Supply Chain is looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Data Specialist to support the transformation of our business processes, along with the implementation of a global trade management solution. The ideal candidate is a techno-functional specialist in trade compliance and supply chain processes, understands both master data and transactional data flows, while also having a strong understanding of various technologies (SAP, Snowflake and SQL are an advantage).

What you will do

• Act as subject matter expert for all Trade Compliance Data and Analytics related process and tools
• Define, prioritize, and coordinate relevant Trade Compliance system and process developments in concert with the counterparts in the Polaris Project and appropriate functions, teams and stakeholders
• Measure, mitigate (and timely escalate) any identified risks that can impact the desired functionality/processes
• Custodian for relevant documentation throughout the project
• Train, mentor, coach and develop competency skill sets in the Trade Compliance area of data and analytics
• Ensure best practices are implemented, executed and sustained; maintain and help delivering relevant process/systems training 
• Assure compliance with delegation of authority, audit, controls, and operations integrity management standards and requirements
• Owning, curating and prioritizing the backlog of work that maximizes value with minimized team effort according to business priorities, value and cost of delay

• Consensus Building (drive diverse groups to agreement on solution options)/resolve conflicts
• Strong understanding of Trade Compliance / Supply Chain data and analytics processes
• Knowledge about supply chain (can empathize with problems)
• Strong understanding of data requirement for automation of trade compliance processes (and other integrated processes)

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Experience with master data and transactional data in SAP (or other ERPs) and the data/analytical relations to trade compliance and supply chain processes
• Ability to identify and aggregate data from various sources to drive insights with the power of analytics
• Experience with implementing, and adhering to data quality standards
• 3+ years of experience with Denied Party Screening and related data / analytics aspects
• Advanced technical expertise with SQL and Snowflake or Tableau
