Contracts Manager

On behalf of one of our clients, a Leader in the development of Major Onshore/Offshore Energy projects, I am currently recruiting for a Strategic Planner to support HVDC Grid Connection Systems for Offshore Wind Projects

Role Overview:
As a Contract Manager, you will be a key team member within the team supporting Project Leads and advising Project Directors. Your main tasks will include:

• Setting common goals and fostering an open culture with contractors
• Managing mutual risks and ensuring flexibility while adhering to standards
• Defining contracting strategies and advising on/executing MEAT criteria
• Supporting the drafting, examination, and negotiation of contracts
• Ensuring uniform interpretation of contractual clauses and lessons learned implementation
• Reporting regularly to project managers
• Coordinating with Asset Management, Claim Management, Supply Chain Management, and Legal Departments

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Contract Manager in major construction projects
• Experience in the offshore business is a plus
• Proficiency with FIDIC yellow/silver standards is a must
• Background in Legal, Commercial, or Technical fields with a relevant degree
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is preferable)
