Job description

On behalf of an international operator client, WRS are searching for a Geophysicist to on my clients existing and new assets across Africa. The role will be offered on a direct hire staff basis and will offer long term scope of work and competitive salary.

Successful Candidates Require:
UK Passport Holder 
Relevant Degree 
Preferred further education in Geophysics or Geo-science 
Extensive prior involvement working across the E&P value chain, regional exploration essential and prospect evaluation essential, field development will be well regarded.
Diverse set of Geo-science skills including seismic mapping & analysis, structural analysis, and reservoir characterisation, AVO, seismic processing. Integration of numerous types of data
Experience planning exploration, appraisal, and development wells.
Experience as a Geophysicist on operated projects/producing asset, preferably in Africa, but other global experience is also relevant.
Proven ability to effectively communicate complex topics in numerical and written formats clearly and concisely.
Proficient in using standard industry software including Petrel and Kingdom interpretation platforms.
