What you will do

 

Coordination of the trading operations related to the export of the equity crude oil production together with ExxonMobil Trading.
Confirm cargo sales details: client, destination, quantity, incoterm, price, STS place.
Coordination of the shipping operations with Shipping division:
•    FPSO: make sure vessel is nominated and approved by the FPSO, and vessel to be ready within VPR; request DP set up services when needed.
•    STS: make sure vessels are nominated and approved by terminal with all required authorizations in place; coordinate vessel’s arrival on nominated window.
•    EBN: check Charter Party information, check freight calculation/taxes; confirm ANTAQ authorization dates are correct, send information for CT-e issuance; request freight payment.
•    Shipping agent: coordinate on the appointment of agents; instruct about voyage details and personnel to board; request Bill of Lading issuance.
•    Independent inspectors: make sure independent inspector is appointed, request surveyor’s information; request flight for the chemistry to board the FPSO for the offloading; request offloading figures for documents issuance.

Follow up closely the offloading operation.
Coordination of the export of the equity crude oil production with the customs agent.
Maintenance of inventory and reconciliation records.
Request DUE issuance prior starting of the offloading and DUE finalization once sale process is concluded.
Follow up on customs gauging surveyor appointment; check his invoice and request payment.
Coordination of the Nota Fiscal issuance related to the crude oil sale, with the Tax and IT departments.
Calculate and agree on sale price, issue final invoice to the client.
Keep financial department informed about offloading finance details and expected dates of payments receipt.
Check invoices and request payment of Customs agents, shipping agents, DP set up service provider, independent inspector, EBN, STS provider.
Support to Shipping Department for the vessel acceptance (operated assets) and boarding of ExxonMobil’s representant on the vessels for the offloading at operated assets.
Handling of the demurrage claims.
Calculate demurrage on each operation.
Check received demurrage claims and negotiate.
Business contact for the call for tender led by the Contract and Procurement team concerning customs agents, shipping agent and independent inspector services, also following up closely on the existing contracts/POs for renewal.
Negotiation and execution of Lifting agreements, Loan-In-Kind agreements, Supply agreements, Transportation service agreements, Transshipment service agreements, COA, and Cooperation agreements.
Manage exposure in terms of different and conflicting obligations that come under different contracts and terms that governs the sales and/or purchases and/or freight Charter Parties.
Maintain good governance, controls and ensure conformance to established limits of authority, work procedure manuals and to review/update periodically.
Keep abreast and adhere to ExxonMobil industry standards procedures & regulations.
Any other administrative, logistical or operations tasks that may be required for the effective management of physical trading operations.
Represents EMEB in the IBP Oil Lifting Group and Navigation

Abot you

 

Qualifications & Experience:

•    Degree in Marketing, Economic, Law, Business Finance, Business Studies, International Business, Transportation, Science, Engineering, or other related fields.
•    Professional qualification or advanced degree will be an advantage.
•    Minimum 3 years working experience in the oil & gas or logistics industry with knowledge and perspective of the upstream and downstream, marketing business and operations.
•    Existing knowledge and understanding of the oil & gas and Energy industry.
•    Understanding of marine vessel cargo measurements, marine law and insurance.
•    Knowledge of trading / downstream / commercial processes desirable.
•    Fluent in Portuguese and English
•    Manage different time zones, languages, cultures, and work ethics.
