I’m recruiting on behalf of a global engineering and technology leader that provide services to the oil & gas industry. They’re on the lookout for a Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer to contribute to significant energy projects in the UK and internationally.

As a key member of their team, you will oversee and supervise engineering processes for energy transition, olefins, refinery, and petrochemical projects.

Key Responsibilities: Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer

– Develop and review engineering procedures and standards.

– Provide technical leadership for discipline basis of design, specifications, data sheets, requisitions, and detailed discipline drawings.

– Evaluate vendor proposals, documentation, and drawings.

– Contribute to project, client, and vendor meetings.

– Support Construction Sub-contract input and bid evaluations.

– Travel domestically and internationally for project-related activities.

Key Requirements: Senior Control & Instrumentation Engineer

– Degree in engineering with extensive design and plant design experience.

– Strong FEED and EPC knowledge.

– Proficiency in designing electrical infrastructure for petrochemical plants.

– Familiarity with international standards and hazardous area requirements.

– Experience in major FEED and EPC projects within the process industry.

– Comprehensive understanding of C&I Engineering and Design.

– Background in P&ID reviews, HAZOPs, SIL reviews, and multi-office projects.

– Previous involvement in UK projects.

– Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
