Senior Project Engineer – Decommissioning (Offshore)

I am supporting a search for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead decommissioning activities from early-stage definition through to offshore removal and disposal.

This is a key role responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective decommissioning of offshore assets, ensuring full compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage full lifecycle of offshore decommissioning projects (concept to removal & disposal)
– Coordinate multi-discipline engineering during Concept, FEED, and EPIC phases
– Ensure delivery against schedule, budget, safety, and quality targets
– Lead project meetings, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
– Drive effective team collaboration across engineering and execution teams

Requirements:
– BSc in Engineering (Master’s advantageous)
– 12+ years experience in oil & gas project engineering / project management
– Strong background in offshore decom projects
– Proven experience across Concept, FEED, and EPIC phases
– Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
– Professional membership (PMI, IChemE, IMechE, etc.) is advantageous
