Geoscientists in Unconventional require work at the field scale, focusing on high grading development inventory through 3D reservoir characterization. They deliver accurate subsurface descriptions and communicate key risks and uncertainties supporting business investment decisions. Unconventional geoscientists integrate and interpret geological and geophysical data to develop appraisal strategies, field scale development plans and execute drilling programs. Typical datasets for integration include seismic, logs, fluids, core, and leverage advanced mapping, interpretation, modeling, and other techniques. The role also requires collaboration with engineering colleagues on reservoir characterization, well planning, drilling execution and technology development.
This position will be based in Houston, TX.
